Procurement Executive Food Supply Department

As a Procurement Executive in our Food Supply Department, you will play a crucial role in sourcing and managing food supplies, ensuring quality and hygiene standards, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers. Your responsibilities will include handling procurement of various food items, understanding and managing technical specifications of cutting models and machines, evaluating vendors based on quality and service, negotiating contracts, and staying updated on market trends and food technologies. To excel in this role, you should have a solid understanding of food products, food processing technology, and cutting models. Candidates with previous experience in food procurement or related industries will be given preference. A Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Hotel Management, Agriculture, or a relevant field is required, although diploma holders with substantial experience are also encouraged to apply. You will be expected to collaborate with internal teams and kitchens to fulfill supply requirements, prepare procurement reports and maintain inventory data, and ensure that all food items procured meet quality and hygiene standards. Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software/tools is advantageous, along with strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in food procurement or food processing/supply chain industry, along with familiarity with food cutting models, tools, and machines. Knowledge of food safety, quality, and handling practices is essential, and understanding local and international food standards and practices is a plus.
