Procurement Excellence Manager (Preferred Immediate Joiners)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Procurement Excellence Manager to design, standardize, and optimize our end-to-end Source-to-Contract (S2C) processes. In this pivotal role, you will drive procurement efficiency, compliance, and innovation through automation, policy governance, and advanced analytics. As a Center of Excellence (CoE) leader, you will be leading cross-functional projects with up to 20 stakeholders, ensuring alignment with global standards, managing the GBS sourcing relationship, optimizing service levels and scalability, driving best practices in sourcing, contracting, supplier management, and digital adoption (e.g., Ariba, AI tools).

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Establish global S2C policies, guidelines, and governance frameworks.

Simplify and automate processes: RFx (RFI/RFP/RFQ), eSourcing, C (CLM).

Develop sourcing templates, approval workflows, and risk assessment tools.

Define global vs. local sourcing strategies and align with GBS for execution.

Improve Ariba adoption (Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle).

Standardize contract templates, approval flows, and ToA.

Ensure adherence to internal KPIs, government regulations, and ESG standards.

Monitor supplier risk (financial, geopolitical, sustainability).

Develop spend analytics dashboards and tail spend management programs.

Oversee supplier onboarding and master data governance.

Introduce and Govern Procurement Signature Processes (e.g. Supplier Relationship Management).

Manage contract lifecycle (renewals, amendments, notice periods).

Provide market insights, best practices, and training to procurement teams for all S2C related activities.

Drive innovation in tools and technologies (eSourcing, Contract Management, Ariba adoption, AI-based contract analytics, spend analytics, market intelligence to predict emerging risks, should-cost modelling, etc.).

Stakeholder Management and Key Interfaces:

Collaborate with Legal, Finance, IT and GBS to streamline processes.

Manage SLA and continuously improve the GBS relationship and service levels for all S2C related activities.

Engage externally with suppliers to drive onboarding, performance reviews and innovation partnership.

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 10 years of experience in developing procurement policies and processes, with expertise in S2C, contracting, and digital transformation.

Excellent knowledge of Ariba/SAP. Experience with Ariba Contract Management modules is particularly valuable. Experience in other contract management tools is a plus. Coupa, GEP CLM, Microsoft CMS would be an added advantage.

Prior experience in contract management is crucial. This includes knowledge of contract terms, legal requirements, and the ability to review and analyse contract documents for accuracy and completeness.

Proven track record in process optimization and eSourcing/CLM tools (Ariba, Coupa, SAP).

Strong data analytics skills (Power BI, SAP Analytics, should-cost modelling).

Expert in reporting and presentation skills (Excel, Power Query, PowerPoint).

Experience in supplier risk management.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Training and stakeholder alignment.

The ability to adapt to evolving processes, system updates, and changing business requirements is essential. The candidate should demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

You possess strong academic record, with minimum bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance (MBA preferred), or Information Technology.

Certifications related to procurement, contract management, or Ariba/SAP are particularly valuable. Examples include:
