Procurement Buyer I

As a Procurement Buyer I at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing and executing the organization's procurement and purchasing activities. You will report directly to our Procurement Manager, and you will work out of our designated location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will have a significant impact on optimizing procurement practices, enhancing profitability, and securing a reliable and agile supply chain. Your expertise in procurement and purchasing will be crucial to the success of our organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with procurement activities, including supplier selection, negotiations for all off-contract suppliers

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, cost avoidance, cost-saving and working capital opportunities

• Support the procurement team in maintaining relationships with suppliers and ensuring timely quotes

• Participate in procurement process improvement initiatives

• Learn and apply procurement best practices and tools

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
