Procurement and Inventory Controller

The role based in Mumbai involves creating inventory forecasts and sending them to suppliers for mutual planning. You will be responsible for generating Purchase Orders, sending them to Suppliers, and maintaining tracking reports. Additionally, you will update and confirm order and shipping status, as well as communicate any delays to the merchandising and operations department. Supporting the operation department with inventory inquiries and assisting the merchandising and logistics team on best order transportation costs are also crucial aspects of the role. As part of your responsibilities, you will need to coordinate with suppliers, logistics, and the warehouse to ensure the optimal trafficking of products to support the business. Strong communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be liaising with various stakeholders. Proficiency in business-level English is a must, and knowledge of Japanese at N2 level would be beneficial. Additionally, you should have expertise in MS Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to use functions and pivot tables. Good computer literacy is required, along with analytical and problem-solving skills. A Bachelor's degree is also a basic requirement for this position.,
