Key Responsibilities: - Develop physics-based models to analyze fluid and particle dynamics in electrode fabrication processes such as electrode drying and electrolyte filling. - Create models to optimize process parameters, troubleshoot non-uniformity issues, and demonstrate expertise in multiphase/multicomponent modeling. - Utilize tools like StarCCM, Fluent, and DEM-based tools for process modeling, emphasizing on problem-solving and innovation. - Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive process optimization and cost-efficiency. - Possess a deep understanding of battery electrode development processes and actively contribute to process scale-up in battery manufacturing. Qualification Required: - Essential: At least 3+ years of industrial experience in battery modeling, process modeling using numerical/mechanical methods, and expertise in tools like StarCCM, Fluent, and DEM-based tools. Strong communication skills and passion for problem-solving and innovation are a must. - Desired: Good understanding of process scale-up in battery manufacturing. - Role Specific Qualifications/Certifications: PhD with 3+ years of industrial experience or Masters with 5+ years of industrial experience in Mechanical Engineering (Thermal/Fluid), Chemical Engineering, or related discipline. Deep understanding of electrode fabrication processes in battery cell manufacturing and/or R&D is preferred.,
