Process Manager

Role & responsibilities

- Design SOPs and provide training & guidance on process safety to operations team

- Ensure HAZOP of all plant is done and action plan is monitored and implemented

- Develop resources to meet the business exigencies and ensure preparedness of the operations team to meet customer requirements

- Ensure preventive maintenance prioritization for process optimization and minimizing breakdown

- Monitor process, Safety, Quality, Energy condition system on daily basis and identify gaps and action plan to optimize them

- Ensure all Incidents/major breakdowns/Quality complaints/Process deviations are investigated within stipulated time frame

- Plan timely corrective actions to ensure "Zero Incidence" & "Zero-breakdowns"

- Develop basic detail engineering for new process as per requirement

- External technical training on unit operations, new technology innovations on need basis

- Ensure smooth pre-commissioning and commissioning of new plant

- Ensure smooth handover of new plant from project team to operations team

- Initiate Technical improvements w.r.t Catalyst, Process Efficiency, to reduce breakdowns and improve uptime of plant

- Interact with various technical people to identify process improvements areas

- Propose solution to technical challenges like corrosion, exposure, leakages

- Work hand in hand with the R&D department for the idea conceptualization from laboratory to commercial production

- Inculcate culture of best standard practices in the team

- Carry out PSSR for various modifications and projects

Preferred candidate profile

- 9 - 12 years of relevant experience prefered knowledge of advance chemical engineering tools (Hazop Study, Instruments Control Logics Preparation, SIL, HIRA, Root Cause Analysis, Chemical Unit Operation)

- B.Tech (Chemical Engineering) from a reputed institute
