Process Leader US Mortgage Loan Portfolio Control and Accounting

As a Process Leader in US Mortgage Loan Portfolio Control and Accounting at FinacPlus, you will play a crucial role in providing virtual business process services to a Real Estate Lender in the US Mortgage Finance industry. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead and work on Mortgage Loan Portfolio Control Reports and Accounting support. - Train the team, assign tasks, manage performance, and drive process improvements. - Conduct loan portfolio analytics to ensure accuracy and completeness. - Reconcile remittance and other reports for accuracy and completeness. - Perform system to source reconciliations. - Resolve inconsistent data between systems and transaction activity. - Generate custom reports to monitor transaction activities. - Create tracking logs for system/reporting/reconciliation discrepancies and collaborate with internal and external contacts for resolution. - Monitor performance metrics of 3rd party service providers, predominantly mortgage loan servicers. - Identify error risks and implement new controls and processes to mitigate them. - Develop new processes and procedures related to reporting and reconciliation. - Lead new projects, develop project plans, build teams, and processes to achieve project objectives. - Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills for issues and project management. - Take complete responsibility for team deliverables. **Qualifications and Experience:** - Over 8 years of experience in US Mortgage Loan Servicing, Loan accounting, Treasury, and Bank Reconciliation. - Data analysis experience with Excel or other programming language preferred. - Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentations to senior management. - Master's degree in finance or accounting, or CMA, CA, or similar qualification. - Experience in real estate, mortgage banking, or asset management industry preferred. - Knowledge of accounting packages like Quick Books and NetSuite preferred. **Skills:** - Strong Finance and Accounting skills with the application of financial policies. - Compliance with US Legal Regulatory Requirements related to the client's mortgage business. - Customer accounts reconciliation and Reporting, Implementation of strong Accounting Controls. - Advanced Excel customization skills, Report envisaging, and presentation skills.
