Process Engineer- PTA Technology

Role Overview: As a Senior Process Engineer in the Petrochemical industry, you will be responsible for providing support to manufacturing to achieve performance targets. You will lead the technology input in analyzing complex process and engineering issues, defining improvements in processes, equipment, and technologies to enhance capacities and efficiencies. Your role will involve identifying, justifying, and prioritizing plant improvements for various projects, including new plants, and supporting their implementation. Key Responsibilities: - Reviewing process-engineering documents for Basic and Detail Engineering - Evaluating external technologies for improvement schemes and new plants - Reviewing Process Design Packages from Technology Licensors - Preparing Design Basis documents and Process Design Packages for improvement schemes - Participating in PHA reviews (HAZID / HAZOP) - Evaluating vendor technical proposals and conducting cost-benefit analysis - Reviewing vendor documents post order - Preparing and reviewing Operation Manuals, SOPs, and SOCs - Conducting catalyst/chemicals/additives/fuels evaluation - Auditing and benchmarking plant/product/energy performance - Ensuring milestones are achieved for pilot/scale-up studies - Anticipating constraints/trends in technology and recommending alternatives - Participating in commercial plant trials - Developing, validating, customizing, and maintaining simulation/APC models - Preparing final technology comparison reports - Participating in PSM activities - Coaching/mentoring and supporting the onboarding and development of the GETs (technology) Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering - 8-12 years of relevant industrial experience with a strong technical background and communication skills - Reliance Certified Chemical Engineer (RCCE) certification will be an added advantage - Experience in Operation and Technology (either CTS and/or Technology CoE) is desirable (Note: The additional details of the company were not included in the provided job description) Role Overview: As a Senior Process Engineer in the Petrochemical industry, you will be responsible for providing support to manufacturing to achieve performance targets.
