Process Engineer- PTA Technology

Role Overview: You will be responsible for providing support to manufacturing for achieving performance targets and leading the technology input into the root cause analysis of complex process/engineering issues. Your duties will include defining improvements and upgrades in existing processes/equipment/technologies to reach higher capacities and efficiencies. In addition, you will identify, justify, and prioritize plant improvements for PIOs, CAPEX, REVAMP projects, and major projects, supporting their implementation. Key Responsibilities: - Reviewing process-engineering documents as part of Basic Engineering and Detail Engineering - Evaluating external technologies for improvement schemes and new plants - Reviewing Process Design Package of Technology Licensors - Preparing Design Basis documents and Process Design Packages for in-house developed/conceptualized improvement schemes - Participating in PHA reviews (HAZID/HAZOP) - Evaluating vendor technical proposals including cost-benefit analysis - Reviewing vendor documents post order - Preparing/reviewing Operation Manuals, SOPs, and SOCs - Conducting catalyst/chemicals/additives/fuels evaluation - Auditing and benchmarking plant/product/energy performance - Ensuring achievement of set milestones for pilot/scale-up studies - Anticipating constraints/trends in technology and product application range - Participating in commercial plant trials - Developing, validating, customizing, and maintaining simulation/APC models - Preparing final technology comparison reports - Participating in PSM activities - Coaching/mentoring and supporting the on-boarding and development of the GETs Qualifications Required: - Thorough knowledge of chemical engineering, codes, standards, and process technology in the respective domain - Ability to work independently and take independent actions on technical issues within the field of expertise - Excellent communication and networking skills - Strong interpersonal and complex problem-solving skills - Proficiency in Process Design Review, Creating Design Standard, Process Simulation, Pinch Analysis, CW Network, and Flare Network Additional Details of the Company: Omit this section as there are no additional details of the company mentioned in the job description.,
