The ME Process Engineer - Motor is responsible for defining and establishing manufacturing and assembly processes for production lines in Elgi. Instituting and implementing process improvements to address increased levels of productivity, quality and driving cost reductions are critical to the role holder.
1. Responsible for design, facilitation and implementation of existing / new process in production / assembly lines
2. Responsible for study and implementation of capacity management activities for planned and projected production requirements and business objectives3. Plan, develop and implement projects to improve productivity, increase process efficiency, reduction in employee fatigue4. Ensure documentation of processes in authorized formats and provide inputs / feedback on process changes / improvement activities
- Graduate Engineering Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- Certification in Lean manufacturing - Experience of 5 to 6 years in process / industrial engineering - Should have experience in LV motor manufacturing - Should possess experience in lean manufacturing systems
