Job Description

Job Title: Intern (Process Audit & Automation)

  • Review daily/weekly Zipteams audit insights and observations.
  • Extract patterns, trends, and recurring issues from audit reports.
  • Summarize audit findings into actionable insights for internal teams.

2. Process Understanding & Documentation

  • Map existing workflows and process steps across multiple teams.
  • Understand standard operating procedures (SOPs) and highlight deviations.
  • Document process gaps, inefficiencies, and areas needing improvement.

3. Gap Analysis & Problem-Solving

  • Identify missing steps, redundant tasks, and pain points in the workflow.
  • Recommend corrective measures to strengthen weak or broken processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate findings.

4. Automation Identification & Improvement Planning

  • Analyze manual tasks to determine automation opportunities.
  • Suggest tools, workflows, or automation integrations to streamline operations.
  • Assist in creating blueprints for automated solutions (e.g., scripts, triggers, rule engines, workflow changes).

5. Reporting & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Prepare structured reports on audit insights, process gaps, and proposed solutions.
  • Present improvement ideas to managers and process owners.
  • Track implementation progress and support ongoing initiatives.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Current student or recent post graduate in Business Administration, Operations, Data Analytics, Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to understand and document business processes.
  • Basic knowledge of workflow tools, automation tools (bonus), or process improvement methodologies (Lean/Six Sigma preferred but not mandatory).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with dashboards is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with an interest in operational efficiency and process optimization.
