Role & responsibilities

About the Role :

As a Project Review Associate at Rexera, you will review condominium project documents, ensure regulatory compliance, and help manage financial risk. This role requires a strong background in underwriting U.S. mortgages, knowledge of borrower income and assets, and experience reviewing escrow and condominium documents. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Follows and complies with current Agency and Investor project guidelines to ensure standards are met for mortgages sold and delivered, secured by units within Condominium Projects for various investors; Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, and various Jumbo investors, as well as Co-op Projects for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. 
• Detailed review of condominium; questionnaires, financials, insurance, recorded legal documents, as well as review of litigation, ground leases, affordable housing, resale deed restrictions, and private transfer fees. • Analyze and approve condominium projects per loan program parameters, such as Limited Review, Full Review of Established, New Construction for conventional, FHA, and VA reviews. • Communicate with clients regarding ineligible or declined projects, providing clear reasoning and guidance.

Training and Support:

Desired Skills & Competencies 
• Advanced knowledge of condominium project standards for FHA (SUA & DELRAP), Conventional, and Jumbo investor programs.

• Strong ability to analyze complex condominium documents (CC&Rs, public offering statements, reserve studies, insurance, and plans). 
• Proficiency with Encompass or other paperless mortgage loan origination systems. • High proficiency in online research and digital tools for data extraction and organization. • Highly organized with strong attention to detail; capable of managing complex workflows and meeting SLA requirements. • Excellent written and spoken English, with a neutral/US-friendly accent for client communication. • Confidence in liaising with government agencies, real estate professionals, and stakeholders on compliance matters. • Strong teamwork, interpersonal skills, and professional communication abilities • Ability to work independently while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
