Get to know us at genpact.com and on LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and Facebook.Inviting applications for the role of Process Associate, Mortgage Origination & ServicingIn this role, you will be responsible as Agent - Banking Mortgage Operations and responsible for executing day-to-day mortgage processes with accuracy, efficiency, and compliance to banking standards. The role involves handling loan processing, documentation, servicing, and verification activities within the Banking BPO environment. The individual is expected to maintain high-quality output, ensure data accuracy, meet timelines, and contribute to process improvements that enhance customer and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
.Perform end-to-end processing of mortgage loans, including data entry, document verification, validation, and loan setup activities..Handle loan origination, booking, and servicing tasks in compliance with client-defined SLAs and regulatory standards..Ensure accurate data entry and validation within core banking or mortgage systems..Conduct quality checks to identify and rectify data or document discrepancies proactively..Maintain productivity and accuracy benchmarks as defined by the business and ensure all assigned tasks are completed within defined timelines..Support in MIS reporting and tracking for daily production, accuracy, and performance metrics..Contribute to process improvement initiatives by providing feedback on recurring issues and suggesting automation or workflow enhancements..Work closely with team leads and quality analysts to ensure zero-error processing and adherence to compliance standards..Demonstrate ownership and accountability in handling assigned work with attention to detail..Maintain noiseless and zero-surprise operations by proactively identifying potential process or data issues and escalating them promptly..Collaborate with peers and supervisors to ensure team targets and client expectations are consistently met..Exhibit professional communication and coordination while dealing with internal teams or client representatives..Uphold organizational values of accuracy, efficiency, and service excellence in all operational activities.

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications.University Graduate (B.Com / M.Com equivalent)..Relevant experience in Banking or Mortgage Operations, preferably in a Banking BPO or Financial Services environment..Basic understanding of mortgage lifecycle processes - from loan origination to servicing and closure..Knowledge of banking systems, loan management tools, and documentation requirements..Good communication and interpersonal skills ability to work in a client-driven environment..Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to meeting deadlines..Comfortable working in rotational shifts if required..High accuracy and attention to detail in transaction processing..Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and ownership..Analytical approach with problem-solving orientation..Positive attitude with adaptability to changing process requirements..Focused on maintaining operational stability, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Preferred skills
.Experience in Australian/ US/ UK mortgage processes (Origination, Underwriting, Closing, Post-Closing, or Servicing)..Exposure to commercial or consumer loan operations within banking or financial services..Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) basic exposure to reporting or dashboard tools is an added advantage..Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure, manage priorities, and deliver consistent performance..Team player with the ability to collaborate, share knowledge, and maintain positive relationships with peers and supervisors..Strong willingness to learn new processes, tools, and technologies as part of continuous skill development.
