Principal/Senior Principal CSS Apps DBA

Role Overview: As a CSS Apps DBA at Oracle, your primary role is to provide post-sales support and solutions to Oracle's customer base. You will be responsible for resolving non-technical customer inquiries and technical questions related to Electronic Support Services. Additionally, you will serve as a key point of contact for customers, facilitating relationships with Support and offering advice to internal Oracle employees on customer situations and escalated issues. Your expertise will be crucial in solving complex customer issues and providing expert technical advice. Key Responsibilities: - Perform standard DBA support tasks for multiple instances, servers, customers, and interfaces - Meet service level agreements for production support response and resolution - Experience with Oracle EBS Apps cloning, upgrades, implementation, and maintenance for versions 11i, 12.1, 12.2 - Manage EBS instances on the Oracle Public Cloud - Maintain key processes like archiving, monitoring, replication, integrity, and security using core database skills - Ensure data backup, recovery policies, database security, and production support - Implement and test disaster recovery plans - Follow documentation, software development methodology, version control, testing, and migration standards - Manage time effectively across multiple projects - Work effectively as a team member and independently Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent - Analytical skills to analyze performance issues in application, concurrent manager, and database tiers of E-Business Suite installations - Strong technical knowledge of ORACLE RAC architecture, Backup & recovery, database cloning, Grid installation, and upgrade - Experience in Data guard setups, fail-over capabilities testing, Parallel Concurrent Processing setups, Cluster setups, DMZ setups, and EBS Technologies integration - Familiarity with Advanced EBS Technologies, EBS Security, and standard & Advanced Security - Ability to work effectively as a team member and independently Additional Company Details: Oracle is a technology leader that supports over 6,000 companies worldwide through its Customer Success Services team.
