Principal Technical Consultant, Platform Engineering

As a Principal Technical Consultant in Platform Engineering, you will serve as a technical thought leader and subject matter expert for partners, customers, and service providers in the Modern Apps & Platform Engineering domain. You will also lead a team of engineers and contribute to the development, design, and implementation of client solutions. Your role will involve managing project timelines, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and fostering strong client relationships. **Key Responsibilities:** - Ensure timely delivery of projects at the highest quality levels, exceeding client expectations. - Design and implement complex enterprise-grade technical solutions for clients. - Cultivate and strengthen client relationships, identify business growth opportunities, and suggest upselling and cross-selling strategies. - Develop and present high-quality deliverables and presentations for client engineering teams and senior leaders. - Collaborate with clients to understand their technical challenges and propose customized solutions. - Create and present solution designs, options, and innovations to clients" senior leadership teams. - Develop and maintain Technical Roadmaps and Innovation Plans. - Implement CI/CD solutions and oversee the delivery of technical solutions. - Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities to team members. - Lead collaboration within technical communities. **Qualifications:** - Ability to develop solutions on a whiteboard in front of customers to address business/technology challenges. - Strong consulting and business acumen. - 10+ years of IT experience with a focus on Cloud, DevOps, Automation, and Digital Transformation. - Multiple certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Pro, AWS DevOps Engineer Pro, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Terraform Associate, etc. - Hands-on experience in designing and implementing Platform core services including Compute, Storage, Networking, Databases, Containers, and Security. - Experience with transformational initiatives adoption such as Platform Engineering, DevOps, DevSecOps, Cloud Transformation, and Application Modernization. - Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, ARM, and CloudFormation. - Experience with deployment services like Harness, GitHub, Ansible, Jenkins, etc., and knowledge of branching strategies. - Hands-on programming experience in Java, Python, or any development language. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Knowledge of cloud-native application design principles, DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD Pipelines. - Familiarity with enterprise organizations and inner IT functions across multiple industries.,
