Principal Technical Consultant, Platform Engineering

As a Principal Technical Consultant in Platform Engineering, you will serve as a technical thought leader and subject matter expert for our partners, customers, and service providers within the Modern Apps & Platform Engineering domain. You will also lead a team of engineers, guiding them in the development, design, and implementation of client solutions. Your strategic mindset, strong leadership abilities, and deep technical proficiency across various domains will be key in this role. Your responsibilities will include ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery, exceeding client expectations, and designing and implementing complex enterprise-grade technical solutions. You will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, driving business growth, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Additionally, you will collaborate with clients to understand their technical challenges and develop tailored solutions to address their needs. You will develop and present solution designs, options, ideas, and innovations to clients" senior leadership teams, as well as maintain Technical Roadmaps and Innovation Plans. Your role will also involve developing and implementing CI/CD solutions, establishing project estimates and plans, and providing mentorship and coaching to team members to support their professional development and growth. To qualify for this position, you should have the ability to develop solutions to business/technology goals or challenges in front of customers. Strong consulting and business acumen, along with 10+ years of IT experience and 5+ years of experience in Cloud, DevOps, Automation, Application Modernization, and Digital Transformation are essential. Holding multiple certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Pro, AWS DevOps Engineer Pro, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Terraform Associate, among others, is required. Hands-on experience in designing and implementing Platform core services, working with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, ARM, CloudFormation, and managing deployment services such as Harness, GitHub, Ansible, Jenkins, is expected. Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or any development language, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and knowledge of modern cloud-native application design principles are necessary for this role. Additionally, familiarity with DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD Pipelines, and enterprise organizations across multiple industries and IT functions will be beneficial.,
