You have a fantastic opportunity to join us as a DAML Presales Engineer with a rich experience of 10-16 years. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to our customers, guiding them towards effective DAML-based solutions integrated seamlessly with modern AWS data architectures. Your expertise in AWS data analytics platforms will be instrumental in solving intricate business challenges. Your main responsibilities will include collaborating closely with sales teams and AWS stakeholders to gain insights into client issues and crafting innovative DAML-based smart contract solutions that work harmoniously with AWS Data Lake and analytics services. You will be expected to deliver impactful demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and technical presentations, highlighting the power of DAML solutions and showcasing your proficiency with AWS data platforms like Glue, EMR, and Redshift. It will be crucial for you to promote the strategic utilization of DAML smart contracts in conjunction with data architectures such as Data Lakes, Lakehouses, and Data Warehouses, while ensuring a balance between performance, cost-effectiveness, and specific requirements. Your expertise in leveraging open table formats, preferably Apache Iceberg, for data modeling and solution design will be highly valued. Additionally, effective communication skills will play a key role as you engage with internal sales and marketing teams, AWS partners, and customers, articulating the business value of DAML and AWS data analytics solutions. You will also be responsible for supporting extensive Request for Proposal (RFP) responses by furnishing detailed technical architecture and data roadmap proposals during the presales phase. Building strong relationships with AWS Partner Solution Architects and other stakeholders to unearth and drive continuous business opportunities will be a critical aspect of this role. To excel in this position, you must possess expert knowledge of AWS data lake components such as Glue, EMR, and Redshift. Staying updated on DAML, AWS analytics, and data platform trends will be essential to ensure that our solutions remain innovative and competitive.
