Principal Software Engineering Manager- Mobile

As a Principal Software Engineering Manager at Microsoft 365 Copilot India team, you will be responsible for leading the planning, design, and implementation of critical components for a M365 Copilot app on iOS and Android. Your role will involve working on next-generation AI-powered experiences for the Microsoft 365 Copilot app on mobile devices, reaching billions of users worldwide and impacting Microsoft's business and stakeholders. With an app already having more than 150+ Million Monthly Active Users (MAU), you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of mobile productivity. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead a team of 8+ engineers to design, architect, and implement large-scale experiences across multiple systems and groups. - Provide technical guidance and design leadership to the team. - Collaborate with global partner teams and disciplines to scope and deliver projects effectively. - Practice customer obsession to ensure great customer outcomes. - Foster a diverse and inclusive team culture. - Develop robust career plans for team members" growth. - Generate clarity and energy to deliver results through the team. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or a related technical discipline AND 9+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, Java, Swift, or equivalent. - Proven ability to build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholders. - Track record of promoting technical excellence and building strong engineering teams. - Quick learning ability and strong problem-solving skills. - Experience in mobile development on iOS and Android platforms is desirable. - Demonstrated history of delivering products and features on time with high quality. - Excellent problem-solving, debugging, verbal, and written communication skills for effective cross-team collaboration. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience with C, C++, or Objective-C/Swift/SwiftUI. - 9+ years of software industry experience, including 2+ years managing engineering teams. Expertise in C/C++, C#, or Swift/Java is highly desirable.,
