Job Description

As a Principal Software Engineer for Cryptographic Security at Customer Connectivity, a global Mastercard team, you play a crucial role in designing, building, and supporting service platforms that provide cryptographic, key management, and certificate management functions for global Mastercard application teams. Your responsibilities include serving as a technical authority, providing comprehensive leadership, and guiding critical decisions across the program and its technology and product partners. You collaborate with various stakeholders to develop innovative solutions for the evolving platform, leading complex initiatives and driving deliverables within global technology domains. **Key Responsibilities:** - Act as a technical team leader and individual contributor, devoting a substantial portion of your time to hands-on work, promoting innovation, and propelling organizational growth - Lead complex, enterprise-wide initiatives, collaborating with business and product owners, engineers, and architects to design and implement new services - Responsible for the analysis, design, development, and delivery of software solutions, defining requirements for new applications and customizations - Set priorities, objectives, and drive deliverables within global technology domains, leveraging partner input and personal experience to make thoughtful decisions on technical direction - Explain technical issues and solution strategies to stakeholders, ensure timely accomplishment of technical designs and delivery milestones, and liaise with stakeholders to understand business needs **Qualifications Required:** - Profound experience in Key Management System - Design and Architecture patterns including APIs, event-driven-services, batch-services, and messaging systems - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, REST API, Microservices, Kafka, Axon, MQ, and Spring - Knowledge of Cloud and DevOps Architecture with expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Chef, Azure, and AWS - Experience with PostgreSQL databases and tools like Eclipse or IntelliJ, Sonar, GIT, Maven, SQL Developer, Jenkins, and CI/CD The company values your intelligence, diligence, and leadership by example.
