Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall Infrastructure Architecture and evolution of next-gen platforms. Ideal candidates will research the existing products and recommend solutions to run workloads in the futuristic Infrastructure Architecture landscape.
• Conduct Infrastructure as Code (IaC) reviews, automate, and deploy Cloud Infrastructure.
• Identify code vulnerabilities and Release Management bottlenecks and recommend solutions to improve the overall quality and Release Management of the systems.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and operational procedures for High Availability and Disaster Recovery scenarios.
• Build Automation for repeatable DevSecOps tasks and help with improving Software Engineers productivity.
• Thought Leadership around Shift Left (Quality, Security, OSS use, Release Management Engineering) & Shift Right (Chaos Engineering) and increasing the adoption of the eCommerce Platform.
• Help engineers develop their skills, mentoring them in their day to day challenges etc
• Partner across engineering and management teams to create a positive work environment, and set clear expectations and accountability.
• Drive to learn new things and go above and beyond the call of duty.
  

Key Qualifications

Knowledge

• 12+ years of professional experience in roles related to DevSecOps, software engineering and development.
• Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies, tools, and practices, with a focus on automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Expertise in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment using DevSecOps tools and platforms, such as GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins and security scanning tools.
• Have adopted security principles and practices, incorporating security into the DevOps process.
• Proficient in multiple programming and scripting languages and capable of writing secure code.
• Proficient in using monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and log management tools.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and the ability to deploy and manage applications in a cloud environment.
• Familiarity with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with development, operations, and security teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address security challenges in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to lead and mentor team members, guiding them in adopting secure development practices.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a Related field
