Principal Software Engineer (Data Modelling)

You will be a key member of the technology team, working closely with treasury professionals to understand their needs and translate them into robust and scalable software solutions. The position available is for a Principal Software Engineer at Career Level P4 in the role of Assistant Vice President, with a hybrid work setup in Bangalore. You will be part of the Corporate Functions team responsible for all applications used by the Corporate Finance team, collaborating with various functions such as Accounting and Recon, Financial Planning and Analysis, Regulatory Reporting, Procurement, Treasury, and Taxation. Your primary focus will be on designing, developing, and maintaining data models that support Treasury operations, investment management, risk management, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining data models for Treasury operations, analyzing data to support decision-making, ensuring data quality and compliance with regulations, integrating Treasury data models with other financial systems, developing reports and dashboards, and providing technical support for deployed solutions. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science with over 13 years of experience and a strong background in building data platforms, large-scale data modeling, SQL, Python, Java, and/or Spark. Experience with large-scale database technology and cloud certifications is advantageous. Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving skills, and familiarity with Agile methodologies are preferred. This role requires building relationships with various teams within and outside the Corporate Functions department, emphasizing effective communication and collaboration for success.
