Job Description

You will be responsible for defining and owning the network security architecture and strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise risk appetite and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will provide guidance and oversight to Infrastructure teams for the secure design and deployment of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other network security technologies. Your role will involve leading Proof of Concept (PoC) evaluations for new products and technologies, providing architectural recommendations to leadership. Collaboration with other Cybersecurity Architects and IT Architects will be essential to ensure consistent and secure platform/solution designs. Identifying gaps or deficiencies in network security posture and designing pragmatic remediation approaches for adoption by Infra teams will also be part of your responsibilities. Moreover, you will be expected to develop and maintain reference architectures, standards, and governance documentation for network security. Your work week will entail designing and implementing comprehensive network security solutions, guiding Infrastructure on execution and configuration. You will establish policies, procedures, and standards for network security controls, ensuring Infra follows them in all deployments. Collaborating with IT and Infra teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures into network and cloud systems will be crucial. Reviewing and providing technical input during incident investigations, and ensuring corrective actions improve long-term standards will also be part of your routine. Staying informed about emerging threats and technologies (e.g., Zero Trust, SASE, AI-driven security) and translating them into enterprise roadmaps will be essential. Additionally, you will provide expert guidance on strategic improvements and best practices in network and cloud security, ensuring security tools and platforms are aligned with the enterprise strategy, while Infra teams manage their day-to-day operation. Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. You should have 8-12 years of experience in an Information Systems role with at least 5 years of relevant IT Security experience. Strong knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection is essential. Experience with next-gen network architectures including SD-WAN, Zero Trust, SASE, and cloud-native networking is also required. Extensive experience in network security architecture and AI security technologies is preferred, with relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNP Security) considered a plus.,
