1.Lead and execute the development of upstream process, scale-up, scale down qualification, technology transfer and process characterization of biotherapeutics by applying scientific principles and documentation of the same.
2. Lead, design and manage experiments to achieve product quality and determine appropriate ranges of process parameters for drug substance.
3. Lead and design experiments related to yield improvement, process improvements, scale down model, process characterization and ensure successful execution and documentation of the same.
4. Detailed data analysis and determination of critical process parameters for upstream process, trending of in-process critical quality attributes and critical process parameters of drug substance.
5. Lead the efforts for transfer of upstream process 10 manufacturing and provide necessary support for trial batches.
6. Ensuring proper record keeping and documentation of project information notes, lab procedures. protocols, reports and experimental data.
7. Follow and ensure compliance of EHS and GL.P procedures within the lab, availability of required resources for the execution of experiments.
8. Leading and managing dynamic team by setting their objectives, priorities and overcoming obstacles to meet project timelines.
9. Demonstrating leadership skills that results in good performance and career development of team members. Coaching and mentoring of team for their individual growth through development opportunities and succession plan.
10. Regular updates and communication of results/ information to the cross functional team and higher management for smooth progression of projects.
11. Contribute towards improvement, Maintenance and sustenance of R&D systems and meeting organizational goals.
