Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership:

    The candidate should demonstrate exceptional strategic leadership and serve as an Institution Builder, consistently striving for excellence. As a school leader, the candidate will oversee the development of annual budgets, ensuring effective acquisition and allocation of resources to support the schools vision and goals.
  2. Academic and Pedagogic Leadership:

    Provide academic, pedagogic, and instructional leadership to teachers. Ensure the design and delivery of effective learning methodologies and practices, both inside and outside the classroom.
  3. Performance Management:

    Drive accountability across the school by implementing periodic reviews and feedback mechanisms. Lead performance appraisals for teachers, staff, and students, guiding them towards successful achievement of goals.
  4. Coaching and Mentoring Teachers:

    Provide continuous coaching and mentoring to enhance the quality of classroom instruction.
  5. Implementation of Organizational Initiatives:

    Build consensus with stakeholders (teachers, parents, and students) and provide leadership in the implementation of key organizational initiatives within specified timelines.
  6. Global Mindset:

    Ideally, the candidate should possess a global mindset, recognizing that preparing students for a globalized world involves more than academic knowledge. The goal is to create an inclusive, culturally rich, and globally aware educational environment that equips students with the skills, knowledge, and values needed to thrive in a connected world.
  7. Talent Acquisition:

    Establish processes and structures that promote a positive environment for attracting and hiring top-tier talent. Ensure the recruitment of high-quality educators and staff who align with the schools mission.
  8. Administrative and Infrastructure Support:

    Manage building maintenance, personnel management, office operations, and emergency procedures.
  9. Budgeting and Financial Management:

    Prepare and oversee the schools budget, ensuring financial sustainability and strategic resource allocation in support of the institutions goals.
