Principal Program Manager - Technical

As a Principal Program Manager - Technical at Red Hat Experience Engineering (XE) AI & Data team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and facilitating a pipeline of AI experiments and solutions to accelerate the timeline from idea to production AI solution. Your responsibilities will include supporting and refining a process that speeds up the development and deployment of AI-driven capabilities, providing a clear path from experimentation to production readiness. You will collaborate with XE associates, enterprise engineering, and product management to execute a product maturity process and understand the business impacts of the solutions. Your role will involve partnering with various teams to ensure a smooth flow from idea to general availability, while effectively communicating and facilitating decisions with senior leadership. Key Responsibilities: - Design, craft, and communicate product vision based on business priorities and data needs - Own end-to-end business scenarios, including problem definition, solutions, technical strategy, and backlog creation - Focus on generating clarity for business needs and aligning them with the strategy - Track progress through product roadmaps and report on operational needs and results - Communicate effectively with stakeholders and associates through conversations and documentation - Provide management-level reporting of overall product health and utilization - Act as the primary liaison to the Steering Committee for advancing experiments - Drive iterative product evolution tied to business viability and impact with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) mindset - Champion the use of agile software development best practices to deliver the right data & analytics products and services Requirements: - Bachelor's degree - 7+ years of experience in Agile technical program management in software companies - Ability to incorporate user feedback and measure success using various feedback techniques - Familiarity with working within a complex enterprise data ecosystem and tools - Experience with analytics model lifecycle, DevOps, and AIOps best practices - Knowledge of Red Hat products and open source practices - Strong facilitation and influence capabilities to drive action and accountability Preferred Skills: - Experience in leading cross-functional initiatives - Effective critical thinking to navigate ambiguously defined business problems Join Red Hat, the world's leading provider of enterprise open source software solutions, and be part of a community-powered approach that delivers high-performing technologies.
