Principal Performance Engineer

Role Overview: As a Senior-level Performance Engineer at Oracle Public Sector Compliance and Regulation (OPAL PSR) - Performance Engineering Team, your primary responsibility will be to analyze and optimize the performance of OPAL Fusion products in Oracle Cloud. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that performance attributes are integrated into each application by reviewing business needs and approving proposed designs. Additionally, you will collaborate with various teams within the Oracle organization, conduct internal training on performance and coding techniques, and provide performance-related bug fixes to customers. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze the performance behavior of applications on each tier of the Fusion Applications Architecture - Identify performance bottlenecks in the application design and resolve software inefficiencies - Subject applications to different business load scenarios and use large volumes of data to optimize performance - Conduct code profiling and memory profiling to enhance application performance - Explain the reasons behind performance problems and provide solutions to avoid bottlenecks - Collaborate with development teams to discuss tactical and strategic software solutions - Provide performance-related bug fixes to customers - Utilize groundbreaking performance engineering methodologies to conduct end-to-end performance engineering of PSCR Fusion Applications Qualifications Required: - Extensive implementation and design experience in performance engineering - Proficiency in analyzing and optimizing software performance - Strong understanding of database tuning, program logic, and SQL optimization techniques - Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers - Ability to explain complex performance issues and solutions in a clear and concise manner - Experience in conducting internal training on performance and coding techniques Please Note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description.,
