Principal PD Engineer (Physical Design)

As an experienced PD Engineer at Skyworks, you will be working on multiple technology nodes with a focus on designing 40/22nm analog, RF, and mixed/signal circuits. Your responsibilities will include performing layout from scratch, modifying existing layouts, creating block level floorplans, and participating in peer and engineering reviews. You will also be required to provide accurate area and schedule estimates for assigned circuit blocks and collaborate closely with design engineers and other layout engineers. Key Responsibilities: - Designing for multiple technology nodes including 40/22nm analog, RF, and mixed/signal circuits - Performing layout from scratch and modifying existing layouts - Creating block level floorplans and working within the constraints of higher-level floorplans - Providing accurate area and schedule estimates for assigned circuit blocks - Collaborating with design engineers and other layout engineers Qualifications Required: - Around 10-15 years of experience in physical design with knowledge of PD flows - Experience with front-end tasks such as digital modeling, gate level simulations, CDC, LEC, and STA/synthesis - Expertise in floor planning, placement and routing, timing closure, power integrity, verification, ECOs, and flow development If you are excited about working in a fast-paced environment that values diversity, social responsibility, open communication, and creativity, Skyworks welcomes you to be part of a team of talented individuals who are changing the way the world communicates.,
