Principal II - Data Science

As an AI Architect at UST, you will be a key player in driving the company's AI transformation by designing and implementing cutting-edge AI solutions. Your role is crucial in aligning business needs with technical feasibility to successfully deploy AI initiatives across product and delivery organizations. Your responsibilities will include defining and driving the AI architectural strategy and roadmap in line with overall business objectives. You will lead the end-to-end design of complex AI/ML solutions, evaluate and recommend appropriate AI technologies, and collaborate with product teams and data scientists to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Additionally, you will establish AI development best practices, ensure scalability and performance of AI solutions, stay updated on the latest advancements in AI technologies, and mentor internal teams on AI architectural patterns and emerging technologies. To be successful in this role, you should have 8-15 years of experience in architecting and implementing complex AI/ML solutions, a deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and NLP techniques, proficiency in programming languages like Python and Java, and experience with cloud AI platforms and MLOps principles. A degree in computer science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field is required. Prior experience in an AI leadership role, familiarity with containerization technologies, and contributions to open-source AI projects are considered advantageous.
