Description
As a Principal Enterprise Applications SAP consultant at Infosys, you will play a crucial role in various phases of the consulting lifecycle. Your expertise will be utilized in business process consulting, where you will be responsible for defining problems, proposing solutions, and contributing to the development, configuration, and deployment of comprehensive solutions. Guiding teams on project processes, deliverables, proposal development, client training, and internal capability building will also be part of your responsibilities. Your input will help in detailing project scopes and shaping consulting solutions that add value and enable clients to adapt to the evolving global landscape. Basic Qualifications: - A Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited institution is required. Alternatively, three years of progressive experience in the specialty can be considered in place of each year of education. - Minimum of 11 years of experience in Information Technology. - The position is based in Irving, TX, and may involve travel and/or relocation. Preferred Qualifications: - Over 11 years of experience in Configuration/solutions evaluation/Validation/Development and deployment. - At least 4 years of SAP project implementation experience in SAP OTC with integration into other process areas. - Involvement in two-three end-to-end implementation projects, with at least one as a Solution Architect, ideally at the client's location. - Over 6 years of experience in Business Process Consulting, including problem definition, Architecture/Design/Detailing of Processes. - Engaging in business process design discussions to analyze and document business requirements for the SAP OTC module related to Sales order processing, delivery processing & Invoicing. - Performing detailed analysis of complex business process requirements, providing system solutions, and documenting customer requirements. - Mapping client business requirements, processes, and objectives, and developing necessary product modifications to meet clients" needs. - Acting proactively to avoid obstacles and ensure smooth project execution, acting as a liaison between business functions and the technical team. - Working independently, providing mentorship to junior members, and offering ad-hoc training within technical teams and business owners as necessary. - Designing functional specifications, configuring and customizing the SAP OTC module and relevant processes to align with business needs. - Documenting functional designs, test cases, and results, providing end-to-end support for SAP OTC implementations and projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP OTC with other modules and systems. - Developing and delivering training materials for end-users and stakeholders, assisting in project planning, timelines, and deliverables for SAP SD-related tasks. The role may require extended periods of sitting and working at a computer, with communication via telephone, email, or face-to-face interactions.
