About the Role ZAGENO s engineers are developing the leading-edge B2B marketplace for life sciences. We are hiring a passionate Senior Python Engineer to join our marketplace engineering team in Bengaluru. This team develops core marketplace services such as our checkout, Order Management System, finance systems, and integrations with ERPs and suppliers. In this role, you will: Contribute to building our next-generation marketplace tools and processes in Python Work closely with data engineering team to deliver LLM based on ML based solutions which improve outcomes of buyers or suppliers Collaborate with technical leads and product managers and deliver robust solutions using cloud native architecture on the Google Cloud Platform Independently lead research, evaluate the pros/cons of the alternative approaches, and document the technical approach for the assigned story. Implement and deploy the identified solutions using the continuous integration paradigm, often teaming with other engineers Perform pull-request reviews with the team, enforcing code quality, security, resiliency, and scalability Participate in troubleshooting production issues and work with the team to continuously evaluate and improve the quality, reliability, and scalability of the ZAGENO platform Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other engineering community member About you: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent experience At least 7-12 years of relevant work experience Experience with modern server-side programming in Python. Background in web frameworks such as Django, Flask, and FastAPI is advantageous Experience in internet-facing cloud-native applications/APIs (Kubernetes, Helms, stateless/stateful microservices) in public clouds (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.) Demonstrated experience with relational & No-SQL databases.
