Principal Engineer (WebLogic)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java development and be comfortable working on backend technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Java and related frameworks.
• Migrate existing Spring MVC application to run on WebLogic server 14c.
• Build and maintain backend services using Spring MVC.
• Design, implement, and optimize database queries using SQL.
• Work with MSSQL and Oracle databases (preferred).
• Collaborate with business analysts, designers, and other developers to define and deliver application features.
• Ensure code quality, performance, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Boot).
• Experience working with MSSQL and Oracle databases.
• Knowledge of SAML/OAuth2 setup in WebLogic, SSL/TLS keystore management, and FIPS/STIG hardening
• Familiarity with modern development practices, including CI/CD, version control (Git), and Agile methodologies.
