Principal Engineer Electrical Design

We are currently seeking a Principal Engineer - Electrical Design to join our team in Bengaluru / Noida, India. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team and overseeing the delivery of discipline projects across WSP Middle East (ME). You may also act as a Project Manager for selected projects, ensuring successful project delivery in line with quality and safety standards. **Responsibilities:** - Focus on delivering high-quality technical design drawings and specifications in compliance with regulations - Develop the technical capabilities of the team and contribute to technical solutions - Lead design peer reviews and stay updated on industry developments - Act as Project Manager for designated projects, ensuring successful delivery and stakeholder management - Manage and supervise teams to deliver high-quality projects within the Project Life Cycle - Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance - Support team management and development, including recruitment, performance reviews, and career planning - Drive Health & Safety practices and ensure compliance with company policies - Collaborate with line managers to enhance communication and design processes - Provide regular updates on project status and financial performance **Key Competencies / Skills:** - Minimum 14 years of Electrical design experience - Experience in Middle East Projects design - Proficiency in technical software such as Amtech, Dialux - Strong knowledge of local codes and standards (DEWA, NBC, NFPA, etc.) - Stakeholder management skills and proven track record in Building Services design **Qualifications:** - B.E / B.Tech or Master's in Electrical Engineering Join us at WSP and be part of a dynamic team that engineers projects to support the growth of societies for generations to come.
