Principal Digital Content Producer

You will be heading the ET Wealth Online desk where you will manage the team to ensure daily production of the desired number of stories. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring proper distribution and visibility of stories across platforms, identifying trending topics and collaborating with the team to produce stories for maximum page views, editing and proofreading articles for grammar, clarity, accuracy, and tone, and collaborating with various teams to improve content quality and presentation. In this role, you will also be responsible for overseeing the editorial calendar, coordinating with writers and section editors to manage deadlines, suggesting structural changes or rewording to enhance readability and engagement in complex financial topics, providing guidance and editorial feedback to junior writers, and ensuring accuracy and consistency by fact-checking financial terms, calculations, claims, and statistics. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Finance, or a related field, along with 5-8 years of editorial experience preferably in digital journalism or financial publications. You should have a good understanding of personal finance topics such as mutual funds, taxes, credit, and insurance, as well as exceptional command of grammar, punctuation, and syntax. Expertise in SEO, online headline writing, CMS platforms, and social media tools to enhance the reach of stories is required. Additionally, you should be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.,
