Principal Designer

As a Principal Designer-Onshore Pipeline at Petrofac, you will play a crucial role in leading a team of Pipeline designers to ensure design integrity in various projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading a team of Pipeline designers and providing support and guidance to ensure design integrity - Reviewing and preparing Pipeline Route Layout Drawings, Pipeline Alignment Sheets, and Isometric Drawings for various pipeline components - Reviewing and preparing Material Take-off & Construction BOQ to ensure correct material ordering - Designing/selecting appropriate pipe supports for aboveground pipelines - Utilizing software knowledge in AutoCAD/MicroStation, and ArcGIS/Google Earth - Planning man hours, resources, and organizing the preparation of the Technical Document Register (TDR) - Providing field engineering support activities for site queries To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills: - Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Pipeline) - Minimum 15+ years of experience in Pipeline engineering within the Oil & Gas industry - Experience in managing multiple activities in Pipeline engineering, including design calculations, drawings, and material engineering - Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of leading teams and achieving results through teamwork Join Petrofac in shaping the future of energy supply and security.
