Principal Consultant - Finance Functional

As an Oracle Cloud Financial Functional, your primary responsibility will be to provide continuous support and maintenance for the Oracle Cloud ERP Financials modules. It is crucial to ensure that these modules are operating optimally and aligning with the business requirements. You will collaborate closely with finance and business stakeholders to comprehend financial needs and offer solutions utilizing the Oracle Cloud ERP product suite. Furthermore, your role will involve working alongside the finance technology team to guarantee seamless data integration between the Oracle Cloud ERP and other financial systems. You will be tasked with developing and conducting end-user training sessions for the Financials modules. Data privacy and security within these modules will also be under your purview, ensuring the protection of all financial information. Staying abreast of the latest advancements in the Oracle Cloud ERP Financials product suite is essential. It is expected that you will share your knowledge with both the finance and technology teams, fostering a collaborative environment. Providing guidance to clients on available options, risks, and potential impacts on other processes or systems will be part of your daily tasks. Your duties will also encompass configuring and building the Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications to suit client requirements. Documenting application setups and creating business requirement documents for reports, interfaces, data conversions, and application extensions for Oracle Cloud projects will be crucial. Additionally, you will assist clients in preparing validation scripts, testing scenarios, and developing test scripts for Oracle Fusion Cloud projects. Throughout the project lifecycle, you will be responsible for supporting clients in executing test scripts, validating configuration and data for Oracle Cloud Financials projects, and ensuring timely completion of tasks. Effective communication and coordination with project team members involved in report development, interfaces, data conversion programs, and application extensions will be vital. Regularly providing project status updates and issue reports to the project manager/client is imperative. Sharing your knowledge and insights to enhance the implementation methodology for Oracle Cloud Financials projects will be a continuous effort to drive project success and efficiency.,
