Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, DB Developer In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing and delivering high quality deliverables, and should be willing to learn new technologies. Responsibilities . Will be responsible for design, code & maintain databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance. . Research and suggest new database products, services and protocols. . Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements. . Collaborate with other database teams and owners of different applications. . Modify databases according to requests and perform tests. . Maintain and own database in all environments Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications . BE/B Tech/MCA . Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications/ Skills . Bachelor%27s or master%27s degree in quantitative discipline (e.g., engineering, science, statistics, math) or equivalent combination of education, training, certification and experience . Experience with presentation-layer reporting applications (Tableau, SSAS, Cognos, BO) with an understanding of data warehousing and data modeling methodologies. . Experience in Power BI . Advanced experience in Sybase, shell scripting, Unix, database design and modelling, . Knowledge of standard methodologies when dealing with relational databases . An ability to understand front-end users requirements and a problem-solving attitude . Knowledge on Control-M Job configuration and scheduling File transfer mechanisms . Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as SVN merging and creating production scripts .
