Description
You will be working as a Principal Cloud Support Engineer at Oracle, where you will serve as the technical interface to customers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and Value-Added Resellers (VARs) to resolve issues related to the installation, maintenance, and use of Oracle products. Your responsibilities will include having a comprehensive understanding of Oracle products, particularly in your competencies, as well as possessing in-depth knowledge of various products and platforms. The role requires you to be highly experienced in multiple platforms and capable of independently researching and developing solutions to customer issues. - Serve as the technical interface for customers, OEMs, and VARs to resolve problems related to Oracle products. - Possess a deep understanding of Oracle products and platforms. - Independently research and develop solutions to customer issues. - Deliver post-sales support and solutions to Oracle's customer base. - Advocate for customer needs and ensure customer satisfaction. - Work collaboratively with a global, remote workforce. - Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Maintain a focus on customer service and satisfaction. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or relevant work experience. - Minimum of 8 years of experience in Infrastructure or cloud-related field. - Hands-on experience with Cloud Networking and in-depth knowledge of cloud computing. - Hands-on experience with public-cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI. - Prior experience in a technical support role or demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical problems. - Good written and verbal English communication skills. - Ability to work in a pressured production environment without compromising service quality. - Willingness to work from the office 5 days a week and participate in weekend rotations.
