About Us

ReBIT (Reserve Bank Information Technology Pvt. Ltd.) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). We've been set up to take care of the IT requirements, including the cyber security needs of the RBI and its regulated entities. ReBIT focuses on IT and cyber security (including related research) of the financial sector and assists in IT systems audit and assessment of the RBI regulated entities. We advise implementing and manage internal or system-wide IT projects (both existing and new) of the RBI as mutually decided between the Reserve Bank and ReBIT.

ReBIT serves as a catalyst for innovation, big systems, and new ideas, in addition to guiding regulated entities in the IT areas of their operations and the RBI's IT-related functions and initiatives. Given the need for inter-operability and cross-institutional cooperation, ReBIT effectively participates in setting up standards to strengthen RBIs role as regulator.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced Principal / Lead QA Architect with 18-25 years of expertise in quality assurance, test strategy, and automation architecture. This role is pivotal in driving the end-to-end QA vision across a diverse suite of applications and products. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of QA methodologies, testing frameworks, and scalable automation solutions to ensure world-class product quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the enterprise-wide QA strategy across multiple applications and platforms.
• Establish and enforce test architecture standards, including design principles for automation, performance, security, and reliability testing.
• Design, build, and evolve scalable test automation frameworks for UI, API, mobile, and backend systems.
• Lead the assessment and implementation of cutting-edge QA tools and technologies.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to QA teams across projects, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and DevOps to integrate quality practices into the entire software development lifecycle.
• Set and monitor quality metrics, code coverage, test effectiveness, and defect trends to drive data-informed decisions.
• Champion shift-left testing, continuous integration/continuous testing (CI/CT), and quality gates in CI/CD pipelines.
• Stay current with industry trends and drive adoption of emerging practices in QA and automation.

Qualification

• Bachelors or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 18-25 years of experience in software testing, with at least 10+ years in QA Architect or Lead role.
• Strong Hands-on knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Angular, Python).
• Proven experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.).
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Build Piper, etc.)
• Knowledge of Microservices testing, containerization (Kubernetes/OpenShift), and cloud testing (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.

Education

• BTech/MCA/MBA in HR or equivalent

Employment Type

• All positions are on a fixed term contract on a full-time basis exclusively for ReBIT, initially for a period of five years, extendable by mutual consent
