Principal Analyst - BA

As a Senior Lead Analyst in Implementation Conversion at FIS, you will play a crucial role in the Data Migration team, focusing on migrating client data from legacy or 3rd party systems into FIS products. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with clients or internal stakeholders to complete Data Migration, Conversion, and Integration projects within specified timelines and with utmost quality. - Clearly and timely communicating project updates and issues, escalating problems as needed and ensuring their resolution. - Understanding systems quickly, performing data modeling and data mapping with clients, and assisting the technical team in implementing migration strategies. To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Applications, such as B.Sc., B.C.A., B.Tech., B.E., or M.C.A., along with some degree in Capital Markets or Finance (MBA). - Minimum 10-12 years of overall experience, with significant expertise in Capital Markets domains like Securities Markets, Mutual Funds, Derivatives, and Transfer Agency businesses. - 5-6 years of experience working with ETL teams on data mapping, data modeling, Business System analysis, and gap analysis. - Strong knowledge of RDBMS concepts, OLTP system architecture, and experience in optimizing query performance and developing efficient code. - Proficiency in utilizing SOAP and REST for accessing web services, and ability to analyze and solve problems effectively. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to establish professional relationships remotely. - Proven ability to plan and execute tasks efficiently to meet time-sensitive objectives, work independently, and deliver under high-pressure situations. - Experience in the Banking or Financial Industry is preferred, along with mentorship skills.
