We are searching for a skilled Cloud Oracle DBA who possesses a curious mind, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent technical proficiency in Cloud DBA administration. Proficiency in hardware skills such as ZDLRA/ZFS is an added advantage. The ideal candidate should be adept at troubleshooting, implementing changes, resolving Exa Cloud@customer issues, and thinking at scale. The role involves managing Exadata cloud@customer connected to numerous mission-critical systems. This is a hands-on position that requires working with Oracle's cutting-edge technology to develop, implement, and maintain Oracle's global infrastructure. Mandatory skills include RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and Golden gate, with proficiency in MSSQL and Postgres. The job entails 24/7 operations. As an Advisory Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the problem-solving team, addressing highly complex and critical customer issues. With a high level of autonomy, you will report regularly to management on customer status and technical matters, requiring minimal guidance. Customers and Oracle employees will seek your expertise for technical advice.
