Primary Teacher (PRT)

Job Description: As an ideal candidate for the position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field, along with a minimum of one year of experience in the field. It is essential to have relevant teaching certifications and possess strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Your qualities should include patience, kindness, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with young children. In this role, you will be responsible for various core duties such as lesson planning and delivery. You should develop and deliver engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning styles and abilities across different subjects. Along with this, you will assess student progress, assign and evaluate work, and offer constructive feedback. Effective classroom management to create a positive and inclusive learning environment is crucial, where you will maintain discipline and manage student behavior efficiently. Additionally, you will be expected to communicate student performance and behavior to parents or guardians through meetings, phone calls, or written reports. Administrative tasks such as maintaining attendance records, grading assignments, and completing necessary documentation will also be part of your responsibilities. Moreover, you will need to supervise students to ensure their safety and well-being, collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching strategies, participate in professional development opportunities, and organize extracurricular activities such as school events, outings, or after-school clubs.
