Primary Teacher (PRT)

As a Primary Resource Teacher (PRT) for the session 2026-27, your role involves planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons across all primary curriculum subjects such as Math, English, Science, and Social Studies. You will be responsible for designing and implementing educational activities that cater to the diverse learning styles, abilities, and needs of all students. Additionally, integrating technology effectively into your lessons to enhance the learning experience is essential. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons across all primary curriculum subjects. - Design and implement educational activities catering to diverse learning styles. - Integrate technology effectively into lessons. - Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student progress and concerns. - Collaborate with other teachers, teaching assistants, and school staff. - Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and school events. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed.) or a related field. - Valid teaching certification such as CTET, TET (Optional). - Previous teaching or classroom experience preferred. In addition, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Strong classroom management, organizational skills, patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching are crucial. Your creativity, imagination, and ability to motivate and enthuse pupils will be highly valued. An understanding of child development and primary education curriculum frameworks is essential.
