Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Teach English to students of
Grade 3 and 4
following the school curriculum.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and classroom activities to support learning outcomes.
Conduct interactive, activity-based, and experiential learning sessions.
Focus on reading fluency, grammar, vocabulary building, creative writing, and spoken English.
Assess student progress through classwork, homework, assessments, and projects.
Maintain student records, grades, and portfolio files.
Use innovative teaching methods, AV tools, and classroom strategies to make classes engaging.
Provide regular feedback to students and parents on academic progress.
Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
Support in school events, competitions, and academic activities when required.
Attend training programs, workshops, and curriculum meetings.
Work collaboratively with coordinators and fellow teachers.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Qualification:

B.A./M.A. in English
B.Ed is
mandatory

Experience:

Minimum
13 years
of teaching experience in primary grades (preferred).

Excellent command over English language – written and spoken.
Strong understanding of child psychology and primary-level pedagogy.
Ability to manage a classroom with patience, creativity, and enthusiasm.
Proficient in using digital tools, smart boards, and basic computer skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Passionate about teaching and continuous learning.
