Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver science lessons in line with the schools curriculum and educational standards. Promote scientific inquiry, experimentation, and critical thinking through hands-on activities and real-life applications. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and curiosity. Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students. Assess, monitor, and report on student progress through formative and summative assessments. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate science with other subjects when appropriate. Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress with parents/guardians. Organize and participate in science fairs, field trips, and other enrichment activities. Stay updated with current educational practices and developments in primary science education. Ensure the safe and effective use of laboratory equipment and materials. Uphold the schools values and contribute positively to the school community. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant field (e.g., B.Sc. + B.Ed.) Strong knowledge of child development and primary science curriculum standards Excellent classroom management and communication skills Passion for science and enthusiasm for working with young children Experience with digital learning tools and technology integration (preferred) Desirable Qualities: Creative, innovative, and student-centered approach Team player with a collaborative mindset Reflective practitioner who seeks ongoing professional development Experience in an international or bilingual school setting (if applicable) Work Hours 6:30-1:30 ( 1 Hour stayback on alternate days) Alternate saturdays and Sundays are off.
