Position Overview: We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Primary Science Teacher to join our team and teach students from Grades 1 to 5 . The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in science, a student-centered teaching approach, and a genuine interest in working in a community school environment. Key Responsibilities: Teach Environmental Studies (EVS)/Science to students in Grades 1–5 following the State Board curriculum. Create and deliver age-appropriate, engaging, and interactive science lessons. Use hands-on activities, experiments, and visuals to enhance conceptual understanding. Assess and monitor student learning through regular evaluations and observations. Support individual student needs and provide extra help where necessary. Collaborate with other primary teachers to integrate learning across subjects. Participate actively in school events, parent meetings, and community outreach programs. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science or a related discipline. B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory. Minimum of 2–3 years of experience teaching science or EVS at the primary level. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage a classroom effectively. A genuine passion for teaching young learners and making learning fun and meaningful. Preferred Attributes: Experience working in low-income or community-based school settings. Empathy, patience, and the ability to inspire curiosity in young minds. Familiarity with activity-based and experiential learning methods. Why Join IICS?
