Orchids The International School is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Primary Mathematics Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective mathematics instruction to students. Key Responsibilities: Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, engaging, and well-organized learning environment for young children. Teaching Methods: Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including hands-on activities, games, technology integration, and real-world applications. Learning Environment: Create a positive and inclusive environment that fosters a love of mathematics in all students. Lesson Planning: Create and deliver developmentally appropriate, play-based lesson plans in alignment with the early childhood and CBSE curriculum. Child Development: Deliver interactive math lessons tailored to individual learning needs. Monitor and support the social, emotional, and cognitive growth of each child. Parent Communication: Maintain open communication with parents through regular updates, progress reports, and parent-teacher meetings. Activity Organization: Organize and conduct creative activities such as arts and crafts, storytelling, music, and outdoor play to enhance learning. Collaboration: Work closely with teaching assistants and participate in teacher training, school events, and extracurricular activities. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's / Master's degree in Education or a related field B.Ed. qualification is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Passion for teaching Mathematics and nurturing young learners Ability to foster a creative and stimulating learning environment Minimum 1 year of prior teaching experience preferred Only female candidates below 45 years of age are eligible for this position
