Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and child-friendly PRT EVS Teacher to teach Environmental Studies at the primary level. The ideal candidate should be passionate about teaching young learners, possess a strong understanding of EVS concepts, and be equipped with innovative teaching methods. A B.Ed qualification and relevant classroom experience are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach EVS (Environmental Studies) to students in Grades 1 to 5, based on the prescribed curriculum (CBSE/State Board).
• Create engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans, worksheets, and activities that make learning fun and meaningful.
• Foster awareness about nature, health, hygiene, environment, and daily life concepts in young minds.
• Assess student progress regularly through classwork, assignments, projects, and tests.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Use creative teaching aids and digital tools to enhance concept clarity.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and development.
• Participate actively in school events, staff meetings, and teacher training sessions.

Requirements:

• Graduate in Science/Social Science or a relevant field.
• B.Ed is mandatory.
• 2–5 years of teaching experience at the primary level.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Patience, empathy, and strong classroom management skills.
• Familiarity with child-centric and activity-based learning approaches.
• Basic knowledge of educational software or smart class tools is preferred.
