Primary Art Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and creative Primary Art Teacher to inspire and nurture artistic expression in young learners from Grades 1 to 5. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, innovative, and able to create an engaging art curriculum aligned with the school's philosophy. They should foster a positive learning environment where students can explore various art forms and develop their creativity, confidence, and visual communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate art lessons that align with curriculum standards.
• Introduce students to a variety of art techniques, including drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, and digital media.
• Encourage creative thinking and self-expression through individual and group art projects.
• Integrate art activities with other subjects to promote interdisciplinary learning.
• Organize art displays and exhibitions to showcase student work.
• Manage art supplies and maintain an organized and safe art room.
• Assess and document student progress in line with academic expectations.
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that respects diverse backgrounds and abilities.
• Collaborate with other teachers and school staff on events, theme weeks, and performances involving art.
• Stay updated on contemporary art education practices and participate in professional development.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts / Visual Arts / Art Education or equivalent (B.Ed preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the primary level, preferably in a school setting.
• Strong command of various art techniques and media.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
• Passion for teaching and working with children.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
