Prepared Foods Clerk

As a Food Preparation Associate, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of food items in accordance with recipes and standards. This includes making sandwiches, salads, and other ready-to-eat meals. You will also be tasked with slicing meats and cheeses using the appropriate equipment, as well as portioning and packaging food items for sale. It is essential to follow proper food handling and storage procedures to maintain food safety. In addition to food preparation, you will engage in customer service by greeting customers and providing excellent assistance. Your role will involve helping customers in selecting items and addressing any inquiries they may have about products. Efficiently processing customer transactions will also be part of your responsibilities. As part of store operations, you will be required to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the deli area, including equipment and surfaces. Monitoring inventory levels and restocking supplies when necessary is crucial to ensure smooth operations. You will also be responsible for ensuring that displays are appropriately stocked and visually appealing, while adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
