Restaurant Cashier

Job Description

Greet customers as they approach the cash register and respond to any questions they have about the menu or payment options. Operate cash register and process payments for orders. Assist with take-out orders and ensure accuracy of items and payment. Calculate total payments received at the end of the shift and balance cash register with receipts. Maintain cleanliness and organization of cashier station and surrounding area. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns in a courteous and professional manner. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
